Celebrating Kansas City High School Theatre

The Kansas City Cappies celebrates excellence in high school theatre while giving students the opportunity to become theatre critics. Throughout the school year, student critics attend productions at participating schools, write reviews, and help recognize outstanding achievement at our annual Cappies Gala. The program encourages students to develop their writing, critical thinking, and appreciation for the performing arts while celebrating the incredible talent found in high school theatre.
